Sonrai Security is one of three finalists for the Identity Management Organization of the Year Award hosted by The Identity Defined Security Alliance (IDSA awards). The awards are part of today’s first-ever Identity Management Day, hosted by the IDSA in partnership with the National Cyber Security Alliance (NCSA). Winners were selected by a panel of judges from the IDSA and NCSA for their commitment to identity management and security as an enabler to business operations while reducing risks. The Organization of the Year award recognizes organizations that go above and beyond to protect employee, customer, and partner identities, and have implemented outstanding identity management and security projects.
“We are honored to be recognized by IDSA for our commitment to identity and data security, along with Intermountain Healthcare, Starbucks, and The City of Boston, for the first-ever Identity Management Day,” said Eric Kedrosky, CISO and Director of Cloud Research. “This award truly reflects the importance of identities in cloud security.”
“The shift to the cloud has fundamentally changed the way we approach security,” Kedrosky continues. “The security paradigm has changed and it’s critical for companies to update their strategies accordingly. An organization not only needs to inventory its person and non-person identities, as well as what they can and are doing, but needs to continuously monitor them.”
Sonrai Security and the other finalists for this year’s awards understood the need to focus on identities and data to secure cloud environments. “We are especially proud to be recognized for the organization of the year,” said Eric Kedrosky. “Cloud security innovation is at the core of our mission and vision, and this award further reinforces our commitment to helping our customers reduce risk and secure their public cloud environments.”
Congratulations to the entire Sonrai Security team for creating a genuinely innovative cloud security platform and for being users as well as developers of our own enterprise cloud security platform.
