Brendan Hannigan

Brendan Hannigan is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Sonrai Security, where he leads the company’s vision to reinvent cloud security for enterprise organizations. A seasoned technology entrepreneur and investor, Brendan also serves as an Entrepreneur Partner at Polaris Partners and holds board roles with cybersecurity companies, bringing decades of leadership across security, cloud, and SaaS businesses. Before founding Sonrai, Brendan was General Manager of IBM Security, where he grew the business into one of the world’s top enterprise security providers, and served as CEO of Q1 Labs, the security intelligence pioneer acquired by IBM. He also chaired Twistlock through its successful exit and has held senior roles spanning product, engineering, and go-to-market leadership across the industry. Brendan earned his B.S. in Computer Science from University College Dublin and has spent his career at the intersection of innovation and security, helping organizations navigate the shift to cloud-native infrastructure and build resilient, identity-centric security postures.
